About

Welcome to OT Cybersecurity — a blog dedicated to real-world Operational Technology and Industrial Control System security.

Who Am I?

I am a full-time ICS/OT Engineer based in India. I work hands-on with industrial systems, networks, and cybersecurity every single day as part of my job.I am not a certified expert or a researcher. I am an engineer who is deeply passionate about OT cybersecurity and learns something new every single day — and this blog is where I share it.

Why I Started This Blog

During my daily work, I kept finding that most
OT cybersecurity content online was either:

❌ Too theoretical — written by people
❌ Too expensive — locked behind paid courses
❌ Too complex — not beginner-friendly

So I decided to document my own learning journey and share it here — for free — in simple, practical language.

What You Will Find Here

📌 Daily learning posts from real experience
📌 Simple explanations of complex OT topics
📌 Practical guides for industrial engineers
📌 ICS security best practices
📌 OT network security tips and configurations
📌 IEC 62443 standard breakdowns
📌 Real-world OT cyber attack case studies

My Learning Philosophy

I believe that the best way to learn cybersecurity
is through real experience — not just reading
textbooks or watching videos.

Every post on this blog comes from something I actually encountered, studied, or implemented in my real work environment.I am a learner — just like you. The only difference is that I document what I learn and share it here so others can benefit too.

A Note From Me

I am here to teach what I know, and I don’t know. Every post I publish is based on real learning, real experience, and real curiosity. If I make a mistake, I correct it. If I learn something new, I share it.

That is the honest promise of this blog.
Welcome to the journey. Let’s learn together. 🔐
